District 57 Spring Conference & Speech Contests - Our own Margaret and Sharad Shone at the Contests!

Visitors Are Welcome!

Come and see what Toastmasters is all about, and find out how it can help you achieve your speaking and communications goals. See and hear what happens at club meetings, and find out more about the Toastmasters program from members of our club.

Star Search Toastmasters in Fremont helps you develop speaking skills in a friendly and supportive environment. The Toastmasters program helps you improve at your own pace, through a structured program of talks. For more information about Toastmasters International, click here.

Toastmasters helps people with different speaking goals, including:

  1. Beginners wanting to overcome their fear of speaking,
  2. Seasoned speakers wanting to greatly improve their speaking skills,
  3. Anyone wanting to improve clarity, pronunciation or reduce a native accent.
You will learn by practicing how to prepare and give a speech, and you will receive helpful, friendly evaluations that help you improve with each talk. You can also practice impromptu, or "off the cuff", speaking for those situations when you can't prepare ahead of time. Toastmasters can also help you develop leadership skills with opportunities to work with others.

You can sit back and observe or participate -- your choice. Visitors are always welcome!

Improving our communication, presentation, speaking, and leadership skills!
