Toastmasters helps people with different speaking goals, including:
Beginners wanting to overcome their fear of speaking,
Seasoned speakers wanting to greatly improve their speaking skills,
Anyone wanting to improve clarity, pronunciation or reduce a native accent.
You will learn by practicing how to prepare and give a speech, and you will receive helpful, friendly evaluations that help you improve with each talk. You can also practice impromptu, or "off the cuff", speaking for those situations when you can't prepare ahead of time. Toastmasters can also help you develop leadership skills with opportunities to work with others.
